A Day to Experiment

I just finished preparing some backgrounds.
It is so exciting to start with a basic acrylic color
Grey….White….Green…..Black
That is dry and sprayed with a Matte Finish and
Then begin changing it by adding oil colors
Thinned with turp.
I use all kinds of things but today I applied my colors with
A bristle brush and moved them around
With paper toweling.
I add and I take away and love it.
Always looking to see that I have a good balance
Of temperature.
I keep telling my students that if they feel uncomfortable
With their color they are probably lacking the
Opposite temperature.
It is so much fun to experiment.
This is the way to discover exciting new things.
